DR. NABIE, NUBARI FRANCIS

Dr. Nabie, Nubari Francis is a native of Bodo City in Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State. He is a Senior Medical Officer with the Rivers State Government, currently at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar, Cross River State as a Supernumerary Registrar in the Department of Surgery. He is also the Head, Rural Health and Community Development, Centre for Environment Human Rights and Development, a leading NGO in the Niger Delta with head office in Port Harcourt where he coordinates a School Health Programme across four Nursery/Primary Schools in Ogoni, Rivers State, with support from Timmy Global Health, U.S.A.

Dr. Nabie is also a Public health and Civil Society activist, former P.R.O Civil Society for HIV/AIDs in Nigeria (CiSHAN), Rivers State chapter. He is very visible in many rural communities across the Niger Delta for his frequent free medical outreaches and some African Countries with the Mission Aid International of the Charismatic Renewal Ministries Inc. Widely traveled and a regular speaker at conferences and seminars.
