MR. EGBA, ERORARO

Mr. Egba Eroraro is the fifth child in a family of seven, born to Mr. Egba Abraham and Late Mrs. Inisaziba Egba (Nee Emuah) of Amorokeni in Ogbia Local Government Area (LGA) of Bayelsa State, Nigeria. He was born on the 13th day of January 1979.

Eroraro started his primary education at UPE School, Otabagi in Ogbia LGA of Bayesa State in 1986 and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) in 1992.

He passed the common entrance examination into Owema Community Comprehensive Secondary School (OCCSS), Otakeme where he started his secondary education same year. In 1996, he continued his secondary education at Matter Dei High School, Imiringi all in Ogbia LGA, Bayelsa State where he obtained West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) in 1998.

He gained admission into the African Premier University of Science and Technology, the producer of GREAT WHALE the famous Rivers State University of Science and Technology in 2001 and obtained B.Tech (Hons.) degree in Civil Engineering in 2007.

At the time of graduation, Eroraro was older to enroll for the compulsory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) and was issued ‘Exemption Certificate’ letter. After then, he gained admission into Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford/Cambridge, United Kingdom to further study Civil Engineering up to his Masters level, i.e. M.Sc Civil Engineering in 2012 which he came out with flying colors. He graduated in 2013 and came back to Nigeria to continue practicing his profession.

While in school, Eroraro did not go to school just to learn but also involved himself with some student unionism politics. In 2002, he was voted as year one Civil Engineering Spokesperson/Provost. Also, in 2005, he rose to become the treasurer of the Civil Engineering Students Association (CIVESA), Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) chapter. In 2006, he further became the National Union of Ogbia Students (NAUOS) President, RSUST chapter which happened to be his ethnic nationality. In same year, 2006, Eroraro became the pioneer president of the Federated Otabagi Students Union (FOSU), which is his home town student body; both are all in Ogbia LGA of Bayelsa State. So he was operating as president in two different associations at the same time. Being a man who is loved by his leadership style, in 2007, FOSU had to re-elect him as president for the second time in the history of the association.

In the year 2009, Egba Eroraro worked with Technoheights Integrated Service Limited where he served as Project Engineer and later moved on to work with Tecno Limited as project Development Engineer where he was in charge of Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) substation plants platform and maintenance in A1 and RA all in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State in 2014. In 2017, he became self-employed doing private civil jobs.

He was a student member of Nigeria Institute of Civil Engineers in 2004. Graduate member, Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and Nigeria Institute of Civil Engineers. He under goes different professional trainings such as Auto CADD 2D and Revit, etc.

Mr. Egba Eroraro is a devoted Christian and the President of Redeemers Men’s Fellowship and as well, Head of the Ushering department of his local assembly.

Egba Eroraro is a very articulate young man and has a humble disposition. He enjoys an active social life with moderation as his guiding principle.

Mr. Egba Eroraro is happily married with children.
